I’m Clare Solomon and I own this website and provide an editing service. I care strongly about providing confidentiality for anyone who employs me as an editor and I run this website in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of 25 May 2018. My Privacy Policy outlines how personal data is collected, stored and used.

Website

My website, merodaukediting.co.uk, collects non-identifiable information, such as the number of visitors each day, for such purposes as letting me understand how people use my site and what posts are the most popular.

People can choose to leave comments about posts, providing such information as their e-mail address, name and website. E-mail addresses are never shown but the person’s name and website, if they choose to list one, will be shared on the website with their comments.

My website also uses cookies, which track visitors. People who don’t want cookies put on their computers can set their browsers to refuse cookies, but this means that some features of the site may not work properly.

None of the data listed above will be shared by me to anyone else unless ordered to do so by government request or court order.

My Editing Service

I will record personal data that you provide for the purpose of supplying my editing service and communicating with you. This may include such information as your name, e-mail address, gender, location and information about your literary work(s). You own any intellectual property provided, which will not be shared with any third party.

I may keep records of goods and services purchased but I never store any information about the credit/debit card you use for conducting transactions with me. All transactions are carried out through secure payment methods by PayPal.
